The private school admissions process for kindergarten, first grade, and nursery will open on November 23. The schedule states that the application deadline for admission is December 15 and that the admissions process will begin on November 23. On January 12, 2024, the first admittance list will be released. Parents may only be required to pay a registration cost of Rs 25 following the circular.Students from disadvantaged groups (DGs), children with disabilities, and economically weaker sections (EWS) are allotted 25% of the seats in private schools. Candidates from these categories will be admitted on a separate list that will be made public. The announcement states that as of March 31, the minimum age requirements for enrollment in pre-school (nursery), pre-primary (KG), and Class-1 are three, four, and five years old, respectively. The notice identifies pre-school, pre-primary, and Class 1 as entry-level courses and stipulates that the youngest age at which a student may be admitted is four years old for pre-school, five years old for pre-primary, and six years old for Class 1.As per the notification, schools are permitted to receive parental enquiries from January 13 to January 22 after the first admission list is published.
